1969 Camaro Thunderhill Crash

Nothing is worse than having a nice car and crashing it into a wall. Unfortunately, that is exactly what happened to this 1969 Camaro. The driver was on a track and found himself crashing into a wall. You can see the video in the link below. Understeering was the cause of the problem.

Key Takeaways:

1. A driver was driving his 1969 Camaro at Thunderhill.

2. The driver and the car experienced understeering.

3. The Camaro crashed into the wall.

Quote: "That mild understeer pushes Chicca wide, and a dropped tire, a little steering angle, and a  heavy right foot makes the Camaro dart violently into the pit wall. Throughout the entire crash, the vehicle’s weight is obvious from the way it pops up briefly before landing harshly and coming to a stop; this is no welterweight."
